My grandpa told me as a kid, “You live to eat, I eat to live”.

He was right, I live to eat, always have, and always will. I remember every meal I’ve ever eaten, and spend my days recreating my favorite moments and dreaming up new ones in the kitchen. But, why can’t we do both? My goal through my recipes is to fill our bodies with nourishing foods that keep us going, while also making sure every bite is delicious and memorable.

Who is Julie?

A little about me:

My grandpa told me as a child, “You live to eat, I eat to live”.

I am a food lover who has been developing recipes to share with others since before I could spell (I still have the cook books to prove it!). Outside of the kitchen, I love snowboarding, exploring new cuisines and restaurants, and relaxing with my friends and family, but my mind is always on my next meal… and the meal after that… and after that.

I develop my recipes with 2 things in mind - “Will it nourish me?” and “Am I excited to eat this?” I love to cook, mostly because I love to eat! My cooking style is very relaxed, my recipes veggie forward and always full of flavor and nutrients.

To me, food is love. Self-love first and foremost, but also how I show my love for others. I hope you can feel the love through my recipes, as you prepare them for yourself and your loved ones.
